The one-day event, which was slightly rain delayed, was part of the Anguilla Tennis Camp's outreach program to encourage inter-island sharing of resources to help youth programs, according to Mitchelle Lake.

The founder of the Anguilla program has run free tennis camps in Anguilla for the past seven years. The program has been so successful he is now expanding it to include other islands.

This year, the visiting coaches travel to the Friendly Island to share their wealth of knowledge and equipment.

The Anguilla camp donated 50 racquets and two large buckets of balls to the St. Maarten tennis program at the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex, so that children can continue playing and learning even after the one-day clinic was over, explained Lake.
