Hosting a Tennis Clinic in Martin

Phillipsburg: Two of Saint Martin's top junior tennis players, Laticia Brown (pictured above) and Tishawn Brown (pictured below), have been selected to attend the opening session at the International Lawn Tennis Clinic hosted by the Anguilla Tennis Academy today.

The clinic will be held in two parts with the first session in Anguilla and the second in Saint Martin on July 27, 2002. Children from Colorado, Tennessee, St. Kitts and Puerto Rico are also expected to attend.

The Anguilla Tennis Academy has also enlisted the assistance of reputable coaches from Texas, Colorado, Virginia, Puerto Rico and St Kitts to assist in the two-day clinics for the children.

While in Anguilla, the Browns will have the opportunity to interact with other aspiring tennis players, compete in a few matches and chat with the various coaches.

On Saturday July 27th, the entire Saint Martin selection of junior tennis players will attend the one-day clinic at the courts of the Port De Plaisance under the guidance and assistance of the visiting coaches.

Coach Mitchelle Lake of the Anguilla Tennis Academy also donated 50 racquets and balls to the St Maarten program.
