     Montego Bay, Jamaica (May, 2001) -- The Tryall Club in Montego Bay, Jamaica, has been voted the top tennis resort in the Caribbean by the viewers of the website Tennis Resorts Online. In addition to top Caribbean tennis resort, Tryall was also voted Third Most Romantic and Fifth Best Game Matching in the overall standings.      The rankings resulted from an online survey of visitors to the popular Tennis Resorts Online Internet site. Readers who had submitted reviews of the resort were quoted as praising Tryall for its �outstanding tennis program, extremely beautiful surroundings and (a) very friendly environment.� They described the coaching staff as �A-class� and �the best tennis pros in the world�. One reader summed up the resort as �a spectacular oasis in the Caribbean� while another put it this way: �This is the perfect place to come for a game of tennis."

     Ferdinand is a member of number of reputable organizations like; United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA); United States Professional Tennis Registry (USPTR); United States Racquet Stringers Association (USRSA), Cornell Hotel Society (CHS) and board member on the International Council of the International Tennis Hall of Fame. He also serves on the board of different Caribbean tennis committees. For 6 years he worked for Peter Burwash International (PBI) tennis management firm.
     Ferdinand understanding of the different management styles and needs stems from assignments at facilities in Jamaica (The Tryall Club); Anguilla (Cap Juluca Resort, Cuisinart Resort and Spa, Malliouhana Hotel, Coccoloba Resort); Virgin Gorda, BVI (Little Dix Bay Resort); Malaysia (Kelab Darul Ehsan); United States - Texas (The Woodlands Executive Conference Center, Resort and Country Club); Wisconsin (Sports Core); California (Marriott�s Desert Springs) and Hawaii (Royal Lahaina Resort, Maui, Turtle Bay Hilton, Oahu, Coco Palms Resort, Kauai).
     Banks is no stranger to Sports Management/Administration; he is presently the President of the Anguilla Tennis Association, President of the Leeward Islands Cricket Association, and Board Member; West Indies Cricket Board.
