There are over 150 children involved in the Tennis Academy this year which is being organized by Mitchelle Lake and sponsored by Black Entertainment Television and Wilson Sporting Goods as well as some twenty four local businesses. Mitch Lake said, "I am very pleased with the monetary contributions made by the local sponsors amounting to over US $3000.00. It shows that they are concerned about the successful development of this programme." He further praised Carimar Beach Club, American Airlines/American Eagle and Triple K Car Rental who have all been generous in providing respectively, accommodation, air transport and a jeep for the coaches.

The Academy will continue next week, July 26, at Webster Park.
