Shawn Romney

     Shawn Romney is a member of Caribbean Tennis Professionals (CTP) the premier tennis management company in the Caribbean. Its' mission is to enhance the services to clients at resorts, hotels and clubs through consultation, management and/or the provision of highly trained skilled quality tennis professionals. The company has been successful in fulfilling that mission, with sites in Anguilla and Jamaica.
     A native of Anguilla, Shawn has been involved in tennis for over sixteen years, and for over nine years in the hospitality and tourism industry. A graduate of Gardner-Webb University, which is located in North Carolina, Shawn received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Sports Management. His understanding of social issues that affect sport around the world is a great asset. Shawn's ability to manage and direct derives from assignments in Puerto Rico (Hyatt Dorado); Thailand (Bangkok Tennis Academy); Anguilla (Cap Juluca Resort, Malliouhauna), and United States; Florida (Nick Bollettieri); North Carolina (GWU assistant tennis coach).
     As a teaching professional Shawn began his career at Cap Juluca Resort, which opened doors to many other opportunities. As a former Anguillan champion he represented Anguilla in numerous national and international events.
     Shawn enjoys many other sporting activities such as fishing, football, soccer, basketball, and baseball. However still close and dear to his heart is the game of tennis that he intends to share nationally and internationally.
